Perched above the bay in Tiburon, this elegant neoclassical estate features a traditional tile roof that reflects the timeless grandeur of its architectural design. Our team was brought in to perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance, preserving the roofing system’s structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

The project began with a detailed inspection to identify cracked or slipped tiles, ridge and hip line deterioration, and potential underlayment degradation due to age and exposure to coastal moisture. Several tiles had fractured from foot traffic and seasonal expansion, while others had shifted out of alignment, risking water intrusion beneath the roofing system.

We carefully removed damaged tiles and replaced them with matching clay pieces to maintain the uniform patina and character of the original installation. The underlayment was selectively replaced where moisture had begun to compromise waterproofing, and we reinforced flashing around architectural features such as chimneys, dormers, and cornices—ensuring seamless transitions between materials and preventing future leaks.
