This roof replacement and solar installation project in Tiburon featured a GAF Silver Pledge Warranty System with fiberglass composition shingles alongside a GAF Timberline Solar Roofing System.

Roofing System Installation

• Removed the existing roof down to the sheathing boards.
• Inspected and prepared existing sheathing for re-roofing.
• Installed new metal pipe flashings and two-piece vent flashing sets.
• Installed edge metal on all rake edges for structural integrity.
• Applied one ply of shingle underlayment over the sheathing.
• Installed fiberglass composition shingles for enhanced durability.
• Added ridge vent over living area with ¼” wire mesh for WUI compliance.
• Installed new hip and ridge shingles and painted vent pipe flashings to match.

Solar Roofing System

• Installed GAF Timberline Solar Roofing System with a 7.92 kW GAF Timberline Energy solar kit.
• Included engineering, permitting, materials, labor, and electrical connection.
• System designed to integrate seamlessly with the new roof.

Warranty & Certification

• GAF 50-year non-prorated material warranty.
• 10-year workmanship warranty, ensuring long-term protection.
• Roofing system certified Class A fire rating for added safety.
