This reroofing project in San Rafael features a proprietary spray foam roofing system developed by Wedge Roofing. The 1.5-inch spray foam roof application is sealed with a tan silicone roof coating and topped with a matching gravel finish—an innovative combination that enhances both performance and curb appeal.
While all Wedge Roofing spray foam systems are custom-designed for seamless insulation and waterproofing, this installation goes even further. We applied tan gravel across the entire roof surface and meticulously hand-applied it along the vertical curbs and perimeter edges—areas often overlooked in standard applications. The result is a cohesive, architecturally consistent finish with refined detailing from every angle.
Beyond aesthetics, the integrated roof coating and gravel layer provide long-term durability with minimal maintenance.
